Silver Metal & Ceramic Braces There are many different types of braces or brackets used in orthodontics to straighten teeth. Our office uses the silver metal which is the most commonly used in orthodontic treatment. We also offer ceramic braces which help minimize the visibility of the braces on the teeth. Invisalign Invisalign aligners, a series of clear invisible trays, are worn over the teeth to gradually straighten them. Each set of trays moves the teeth a small amount until they are straight. Dr. Crist will evaluate you to determine if you would be a good candidate for Invisalign.
