The orthodontic fee is based upon each patient's individual treatment needs. Our office accepts payments by cash, check, Visa/Mastercard & Discover credit cards. We also accept a large variety of insurances. We are happy to check on your orthodontic benefit and give you a good faith estimate when the patient is ready to start treatment. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is different from your regular dental insurance. We will file your claim after treatment starts. Typically, insurance pays only a portion of the treatment fee. And, this portion is usually paid over the length of the treatment plan. You are responsible for any amounts not paid by insurance including if the insurance company does not pay the estimated benefit and/or the insurance coverage terminates or changes. If insurance benefits are sent directly to you, it is your responsibility to issue payment for the account.
